When it rains, it pours, and when it comes to the marketing ideas some mobile phone makers come up with for their products, one should always expect for the unexpected. The same applies to the six videos from Sony Ericsson embedded

below, which are meant to prove that its Xperia X10 is so easy to maneuver that even models, grandpas, or glam rockers can use it.

Inevitably, the ease of usage that Xperia X10 offers is touted against the lack of simplicity that other smartphones out there, even some of the most popular of them, do not offer.

Whether it comes to taking a simple photo, to catching a moving object on video, or to searching for something specific on the handset, Xperia X10 can do it easier than other mobile phones out there, at least this is what the six videos below (spotted via androinica) will show you.

Moreover, another aspect that the clips below are trying to bring to the front is that the features packed inside Sony Ericsson's Android-based smartphone are easily accessible to anyone out there, whether toddlers, models, grandpas, glam rockers, stoned surfers, or “guidos.”

These are the six “focus” groups the Product Testing Institute chose to film while showcasing the various features of Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.

All in all, these videos worth watching, at least due to the fact that they should be capable to make almost anyone out there smile.

As for the Xperia X10, it does come with a nice range of high-end capabilities on the market, one should agree.

The handset can very well compete against rivals like iPhone, BlackBerry or other Android devices on the market, but it still runs under an OS version release last year, namely Android 1.6, which is some sort of a deal breaker for many users.

However, Sony Ericsson promised the release of a software update for this device as soon as this month (Android 2.1) and, in case it manages to deliver the upgrade in due time, the mobile phone would become more appealing than it is now, that's for sure.
