Konami and Hideo Kojima are ready to puzzle us yet again

Konami sure has good stuff coming for us, Silent Hill and Pro Evolution Soccer fans. We've seen the Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer at E3 so it's no wonder that Hideo Kojima will introduce new in-game themes at the Game Convention in Leipzig.

Konami will also flash some long-awaited titles before our greedy eyes, great names like Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles, Silent Hill Origins (PSP), Dewy's Adventure (Wii) and Silent Hill 5. The last game on the list was recently announced by the producer, appeasing the SH fans, who thought that the series had ended with the fourth title.

It seems that Konami is ready to compete yet again with EA Sports, with the aid of PES 2008, FIFA's biggest rival. Also, Silent Hill 5 will probably arrive just in time to compete with Resident Evil 5, but we don't exactly know which console will benefit of the latest horror survival masterpieces. I assume they will both be PS3 exclusives, with Xbox 360 and PC ports released afterwards.

It's nice to see that the PSP and Nintendo Wii owners get their share of fun, thanks to the two titles I've mentioned above. Silent Hill Origins is a game for the fans of the series, turning one of the most famous horror survival titles into a portable gaming experience. What will the next MGS 4 content reveal? Maybe we'll check out some gameplay footage, or maybe there's a demo available for Snake's fans to toy with.

Castlevania fans will also be pleased to see that there's yet another sequel to enjoy from the long-running series, which has evolved and spread its ports to all the famous consoles. Leipzig Game Convention starts tomorrow, so expect some spicy details about Konami's upcoming titles pretty soon.

In the meantime, check out the Silent Hill 5 trailer, available at E3 2007:
