The female character, originating in MGS 3: Snake Eater, aged pretty damn well...!

During his Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots presentation at the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary party today, Hideo Kojima revealed the return of Eva to the stealth-based game series. Eva is an important character originating in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The well-known video game designer did the same thing with Eva, as he did with the rest of his characters: he aged her. But in a sexy way, of course. Take a look!

The picture you see on the left, is indeed the Eva we all know from MGS3: Snake Eater. We thank 1UP.com for it. The image next to it (on the right) is a picture of Eva too. That's how she looked when MGS 3: Snake Eater was released back in 2004. Of course, Kojima seems to have aged the attractive female character by more than just three years, but who cares. She's just as sexy, if not even sexier than before.

As I found browsing about on Wikipedia, the entire Japanese main voice cast from Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty will be returning to reprise their roles in Guns of the Patriots, with the exception of the late K?ji Totani (Revolver Ocelot), who died in February 2006. Totani will be replaced by Liquid Snake's Japanese voice actor Banj? Ginga, who provided the voice of "Liquid" Ocelot in the game's official trailer. It has also been confirmed that Houko Kuwashima will retake the role of Mei Ling for the game. During the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Party, it was announced that Japanese film director Shinya Tsukamoto will provide the Japanese voice for Vamp, replacing original actor Ryotaro Okiayu.

Eva's voice actress however, has not been named yet. Kojima Productions is surely having a difficult time matching those sexy looks to a sexy woman's voice. May I make a suggestion, Kojima? Kelly Linch, who played the role of Vivian Wood in Charlie's Angels (the new one, not the old series). She's got the perfect voice for Eve, if you ask me.

That's about it guys. Good to know that Eve's making a comeback huh? I bet we'll be seeing even more screens of her from now on (with less clothes on perhaps).
