14 DAY TRIAL // ShareTool, a Yazsoft-developed app that lets you access all of your Bonjour services from anywhere in the world, has been updated to version 1.2.5. The new release enables users to configure ShareTool so that an automatic email is sent containing the connection info every time the app is restarted.
The huge changelog, containing mostly new additions, also reveals that version 1.2.5 can now import connectivity information from user’s email client for even quicker setup. Additionally, ShareTool will now automatically re-email you if/when connection information changes while sharing (checks every 15 minutes).
What else? Bonjour listings are refreshed periodically, to make sure information doesn't get stale. Moreover, when connected directly to the Internet, a new IP address is detected within 1 minute. Just as well, port mappings are now renewed immediately, should the Internet connection be disrupted and then restored. A Leopard-only goodie brings improvements to public key authentication.
