14 DAY TRIAL // In a rather cheeky move, Klei Entertainment has presented a special character skin that will be a part of its upcoming Shank 2 side-scrolling brawler, which depicts a hobo with a shotgun, a clever reference to last year’s movie that starred Rutger Hauer.
The original Shank impressed through its sharp visual style and fast-paced action, so Klei Entertainment, its developer, wants the sequel to improve on what made the first game so great by tweaking combat mechanics and improving boss fights.
We’ve already seen quite a few screenshots and even videos of the game in action, but now the studio has revealed the first image of one of the game’s bonus character skins, called Hobo.
As you can see in the picture above, the Hobo wields a mighty shotgun and, while he doesn’t really look like Rutger Hauer from the movie Hobo with a Shotgun (probably due to the trademark issues), he’ll certain be a great addition to the game.
Look forward to Shank 2’s launch on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in the near future.
