Officials have released the names of the seven American crew members killed in a plane crash at Bagram Airfield military base in Afghanistan on Monday.

Channel 3000 wrote that one of the men was captain Jeremy Lipka, 37, who lived in Michigan and mostly handled international flights.

As I told you earlier, the Boeing 747-400 was operated by US Mobility Command, based in the States. It crashed shortly after departing, and it was headed for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Michigan Live mentions 33-year-old Jamie Brokaw of Monroe as another crew member killed in the National Airlines plane crash.

He was the co-pilot on the civilian flight, after training as a flight mechanic in the Air Force for six years beforehand.

The other men on the flight have been identified as Brad Hasler, Rinku Summan, Michael Sheets, Gary Stockdale and Timothy Garrett.
