Yesterday, it was Kate, today it is Filippa, tomorrow... it's anybody's guess what tomorrow may bring. Either way, it's clear that with all this information that continues to “leak,” one can't be sure of anything anymore. The only thing that is certain right now is that today's topic is Filippa.
Not really that much is known about this phone, the only hints we’ve got so far being several leaked photos and some specs. However, it seems we won't have to wait too long until the phone is officially released – or at least announced. That is, if we’re to believe what the rumors are saying.
The phone is rumored to be a new CyberShot model that will, apparently, come in three colors, black, peach and silver. Sony Ericsson's type of colors, if we think about it. The device will have a 3.2-inch display that will be scratch resistant, since it's covered in mineral glass.
A 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and Xenon Flash is going to take some snappy pics worthy of the CyberShot name, and with Face Detection, BestPic and PhotoFix, you can rest assured that all those moments you photographed will look clear as crystal. Another thing that Filippa offers users is QVGA video recording and also TV out, so it's clear that the phone was designed to keep users entertained.
The Sony Ericsson Filippa also comes with an M2 card slot to complete the 140 MB of internal memory, thus making it possible to store a fair amount of information on it. Another thing that must be mentioned about this phone is that it will allow YouTube upload and download – this should basically point to the fact that it offers HSDPA or 3G, but this is just a guess at this point.
