14 DAY TRIAL // Despite rumors to the contrary, Sandra Bullock and Jesse James, whose name was dragged through the mud once a tattoo slash glamour model stepped forward to tell of her year-long extra-marital affair with him, are not back together. In fact, the two are now officially no longer husband and wife, as their divorce has just been pronounced final, TMZ has learned.
Their separation has held all the headlines in recent months, especially since, with every day, new allegations about James’ infidelity would emerge. Last time a story on James’ many alleged mistresses ran in the tabloid media, there were at least 5 of them claiming they had relations with him behind Sandra’s back. At the same time, contradictory reports claimed that the Oscar-winning actress was considering putting the divorce on hold because she could not cope with the idea of being a single parent.
As it turns out, it wasn’t exactly so. “TMZ has learned Sandra Bullock’s divorce from Jesse James is now a done deal. Sources tell TMZ both Sandra and Jesse signed the final documents last week. Sealed documents have been filed with the clerk’s office in Travis County, Texas – sources tell us they are the papers making the divorce final,” the aforementioned paparazzi agency informs.
TMZ also broke the story of Sandra filing for divorce, back when other US glossies were saying that she’d changed her mind about the separation and was considering taking him back for old times’ sake. “Sandra filed for divorce back on April 23, saying the marriage ‘has become insupportable because of Discord or conflict of personalities.’ And sources say the divorce clears the way for Sandra to complete a single parent adoption,” TMZ further says.
With all this, Jesse James is determined not to let his own mistakes further harm his children, all of whom have developed a very strong bond with Sandra. In order to prevent that from happening, to keep them from drifting apart, he has decided to move to Austin, where he’ll also be working on a new project, as we informed you a short while ago.
