South Korean-based company Samyang is known for its high-quality cine lenses that can fit some of the most popular digital camera mounts on the market, including Canon EF-mount, Nikon F-mount, Sony A-mount, and Sony E-mount.

Today, in a press release, Samyang announced the availability of 6 new cine lenses designed to work with Pentax K-mount digital SLRs. Taking into consideration recent user feedback, the company decided to make this move thanks to the growing demand of cinema lenses among Pentax DSLR owners.

The new Pentax K-mount lenses from Samyang are: Samyang V-DSLR 8mm T3.8 Pentax CS II, Samyang V-DSLR 14mm T3.1 Pentax, Samyang V-DSLR 16mm T2,2 Pentax, Samyang V-DSLR 24mm T1.5 Pentax, Samyang V-DSLR 35mm T1.5 Pentax, and Samyang V-DSLR 85mm T1.5 Pentax.

These lenses cover a wide range of focal lengths and come with a fast aperture that will help you get the perfect shot anytime, even in low light conditions. Moreover, all lenses are compatible with the Follow Focus system, which makes them more efficient and precise when used for filmmaking.

The system allows you to easily and silently rotate focus and aperture rings without affecting footage sound quality and giving you an effective control over focal plane and depth of field during filming.

These new Pentax K-mount lenses are now available at a price point equivalent with Samyang's V-DSRL lenses for the other supported mounts.

In addition to that, Samyang recently announced the availability of five new full-frame lenses for Sony's E-mount mirrorless cameras that extend the company's lens lineup and offer Sony NEX users a wide range of prime lenses to choose from.

The new lens models are as follows: Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC, Samyang 24mm f/1.4 ED AS IF UMC, Samyang T-S 24mm f/3.5 ED AS UMC, Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC and Samyang 85mm f/1.4 AS IF UMC.
