South Korean optics manufacturer Samyang has just announced the availability of a new filter holder, namely SFH-14, especially designed to work with Samyang's 14mm 1:2.8 ED AS IF UMC lens.

The filter is compatible with both standard and V-DSLR cine versions of the lens and comes as a solution for a lens that doesn't offer a filter thread due to its specific optical construction.

The filter can be used both vertically and horizontally thanks to a rotatable design and comes with double slideways that allow you to use two filters at the same time.

At the moment there are only three different filters available (154 ND8, 121M ND4, and 123s) with a 161 x 139 x 3 mm format, each of them produced by renowned manufacturer Cokin.

Samyang SFH-14 is made of lightweight and durable ABS plastic, weighs only 115g / 4oz, and can be purchased for €32 / $43. The Cokin filters are sold separately at a price of €63 / $85 for the Cokin 154 ND8 and €68 / $92 for the Cokin 121M ND4 and Cokin 123S.
