14 DAY TRIAL // South Korea-based optics manufacturer Samyang announced a month ago that it would release 5 new full-frame lenses especially designed for Sony E-mount interchangeable lens cameras.
While until now the lenses have only been available for pre-order, B&H has two of them already in stock. If you own a Sony A7 or A7R, you can now purchase the Rokinon (Samyang) 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC and Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 AS IF UMC lenses at a price of $399 / €295 and $299 / €221, respectively.
Besides these two lenses, the company also announced the Samyang 24mm f/1.4 ED AS IF UMC, Samyang T-S 24mm f/3.5 ED AS UMC, and Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC, which are expected to be available for purchase soon.
Although these lenses are specifically designed for full-frame sensors, they can also be used on APS-C format cameras (like the A5000), taking into consideration the crop factor of the sensor.
