Samyang, an important optics manufacturer based in Korea, recently announced the Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS wide-angle prime lens for APS-C format digital cameras.

Besides its wide-angle coverage and fast aperture, the lens stands out as the company's first lens to feature a nano crystal anti-reflection coating system, designed to provide a superior light transmission, increased resistance to reflections as well as higher contrast when compared with their traditional lenses.

Thanks to its wide field of view of up to 109.5 degrees, the lens is ideal for landscape, architecture and indoor photography.

In a recent press release, Samyang Europe has announced that the recommended selling price on the European market for the upcoming 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS lens is €429 / $590 for Canon, Canon M, Sony, Sony E, Pentax, Samsung NX, Fuji X, 4/3 and MFT mounts and €469 / $645 for the Nikon AE mount.
