Samsung has announced that they will start using ShoZu service in all its future cellphones. The technology allows users to upload and download media files without having to rely on a mobile browser for that.

The first mobile phone to include ShoZu technology will be Samsung SCH-L760. The handset is a 3G camera phone for mobile bloggers capable of handling a large amount of media files. What this new technology brings is a new solution for equipping phone users with solutions for interacting with communities in a fast and easy way.

All that the users need to get started with ShoZu is a camera phone, which shows why it will be so easy for Samsung to provide this service from now on for most of their handsets. While this application runs on the mobile phone, all other performances will be able to run. As a result, people will be capable of placing calls while their images or videos are loading in the background.

"ShoZu will be an integral part of our handset user interface and overall experience, allowing users to effortlessly take and send videos and photos to their chosen web destination, even when while on the go. ShoZu embodies the speed, ease of use, and seamless user experience that consumers have come to expect from Samsung", said Dr. Dohun Kwon, Vice President at Samsung Electronics Research Institute (UK)

"This agreement mirrors the rise of mobile social networking as a part of consumers' daily lives. The handset is becoming an extension of the PC for photo sharing, blogging and similar activities, in part because of the ubiquity of camera phones today", said Mark Bole, CEO of ShoZu.

ShoZu's services also include ZuCasts, which brings rich media for free or for a paid subscription. This provides videos, photos, music, wallpaper, ringtones, news feeds and other content which the user can request for discreet and precisely targeted ad delivery. ShoZu is capable of running on more than 250 camera phones at a worldwide scale in nearly 100 countries.
