Students and adults with a wide range of aesthetic tastes are likely to find Samsung's new laptop offer appealing, what with the available color options reaching beyond the ordinary.

For small items, like flash drives and other portable devices, it is not that strange to see a big list of color options.

When it comes to large things that have to appeal to as many users as possible, however, such a variety isn't common.

Notebooks are, usually, one of these large things, but this did not stop Samsung from creating blue, silver, orange and pink Sense Series 3 300V models, in addition to the black one.

The newcomers have been introduced in Korea and will be available in 14-inch and 15.6-inch form factors whenever the outfit decides to start shipping them.

Indeed, Samsung did not say when the devices are bound, but at least it provided some pricing details.

The 14-inch Sense Series 3 300V will sell for 430,000 won (the rough equivalent of $400), while the 15-inch are to ship for 890,000 – 1,400,000 won (about US$454 – US$1,300).

That said, Core i7 central processing units from the second generation lie at the heart of all configurations, paired with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 520 GPUs.

Of course, since both integrated and discrete solutions are present, Samsung made sure to include the Switchable Graphics technology as well, which automatically switches between Intel HD and the NVIDIA component.

This will allow for a longer battery life than would be possible if just the latter was used at all times.

Other things one will find on the list of specifications are 4 GB of RAM (random access memory), a hard disk drive of up to 640 GB and non-reflective displays, plus the expected connectivity and I/O options (Ethernet, WiFi, USB, etc.).

Unfortunately, the outfit did not say when shipments will commence, the same way it skipped over this detail when it showed the MeeGo-loaded N100.
