It is official now. Vodafone will bring Samsung U700 phone model as part of their line of available handsets. All this will take place sooner than you'd think, on June 14th.

Samsung U700 comes with a modern, stylish design which will prove to be appealing to a wide range of customers, no matter how much their tastes might differ. This slider phone comes with large, easy-to-push buttons and a large, round navigation button placed right under the screen.

Moreover, Samsung U700 is only 10.9 mm thick, as Samsung has managed once again to compact a wide range of performances into a slim, stylish device. The 2.2 inch TFT display manages to add some points to its good looks, as it is capable of high performances in image rendering.

The 3 megapixel camera also comes with autofocus, flash and is capable of video recording too. As if this was not enough, Samsung U700 also comes equipped with a secondary VGA videocall camera which will manage to provide reasonable quality for video conversations.

Samsung U700 is capable of supporting GPRS class 10, EDGE and 3G technology at high transfer speeds. Moreover, it also comes with Bluetooth 2.0 and A2DP connectivity. This handset has an internal memory of only 20MB, which might prove to be insufficient for storing all the data that its user might want to. Still, a microSD card slot is also available for adding all the space which might be needed.

This mobile phone may not be capable of the highest performances when it comes to mobile phones, but it will make an excellent device for receiving the average mobile services mentioned above. More information about this mobile phone will come after its release.

Samsung U700 will be available for purchase starting June 14th in UK. An estimate price for this handset has not been revealed yet.
