A new phone design concept coming from Samsung

Samsung i620 has not been released yet by Samsung. Actually, it hasn't even been announced. Still, by the looks of it, this phone will distinguish itself from all other Samsung phone models.

The design is quite unusual at a first look. It's probably just that we have been offered a wide range of long and slim mobile phones until now. Compared to all those, Samsung i620 might look a bit bulky and out of the ordinary, with its unusual design. This is a flip phone that unexpectedly reveals a QWERTY keyboard when opened. It is meant to be practical rather than aesthetic, as it fails in adding any points in the handset's good looks.

Putting aside the keypad, this phone has simple lines that make it look especially stylish and elegant. Even the 59 mm that it reaches in width make it stand out and give it some extra points when it comes to design. Even more, the display has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and might considerably enhance working on this smartphone, as it is rather wide and, thus, more efficient.

Samsung i620 comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera. It offers high quality image capture, although its performances are not out of the ordinary. Even more, connectivity is available through Bluetooth, GPRS and WiFi. The actual memory space that this handset comes with has not been specified, but a microSD expansion slot is also available.

Samsung i620 is a smartphone that follows the lines set by Samsung i600, only in an upgraded design version that makes it more compact and more elegant. Samsung i600 also featured a similar looking QWERTY keypad, only that this is not a flip phone, which made it look quite large.

Samsung has not revealed any information on the date we should expect this phone to be available, but it might turn out to deserve the wait.
