14 DAY TRIAL // Today, mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless made available for purchase on its airwaves a new smartphone that can provide support for its 4G LTE network, namely the Samsung Stratosphere.
The handset was officially unveiled to the world only a few days ago, but those who would like to try it out on Verizon's LTE airwaves can already do so.
The new mobile phone is based on Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and features support for a great deal of services available from Google and Verizon.
The Samsung Stratosphere can be seen on Verizon's website here with a price tag of $149.99 (roughly 110 Euros) attached to it with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.
This is the first LTE-enabled smartphone in Verizon's offering to pack a sliding QWERTY keyboard, in addition to the usual touchscreen display that all Android devices feature.

The new device packs a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for video recording, and also features a front camera for video calling. It was also packed with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, as well as with GPS receiver, and the like.
The new smartphone features 4GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space (a 4GB card included from the start).
