Still no release for it

Samsung SGH-P520 is just one of the surprisingly impressive mobile phones that the second world handset producer brings to its fans. The touchscreen handset highly resembles LG's Prada, but seems to have its own fashion designer to take after, as it is the Armani phone that the producer announced some time ago.

Next to the touchscreen craze that so many mobile phones have lined up to, a new trend surfaces, that of borrowing the name of renowned fashion designers. They are supposed to bring along with the naming an extra touch of style and lend some of their popularity to the devices too. Prada was taken by LG, so Samsung has to stick with Armani. The two devices look almost identical, leaving the impression that the two designers have done nothing to leave a distinctive mark on the design of the two handsets.

Samsung SGH-P520 has a 2.6 inch touchscreen that might feel a bit small, especially when it comes to watching videos on it. The reason for this partially comes from the phone's overall small dimensions, as it comes at 88 x 54 x 8.9 mm and little over 100 grams. This makes it one of the most compact devices out there that also manage to pack some highly evolved technology.

The 3 megapixel camera is capable of taking high quality captures. Moreover, the TV out on this device will make it possible to view captures on the large screen of a TV set. The mobile phone has only 50MB of onboard memory, but adds to that through a microSD card slot. Other specifications also include Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, the best that handsets have to offer.

Samsung has been taunting people for a long time now with their SGH-P520 Armani phone. The moment for its release is approaching, as the handset should be available in Europe before the end of the year, for an estimated price of EUR 400.
