People that need to use CDMA at home and who travel quite often - thus which also need a GSM phone to take with them - could until now find the perfect combination in one mobile phone, Samsung A790.

Sprint subscribers can now choose a more stylish looking handheld to replace the Samsung A790 with the newer, better looking Samsung W531 that is expected to arrive on Sprint soon.

Apart from offering international GSM roaming support, the mid-range handheld also brings some features that will most likely satisfy mobile phone users who don't have very high expectations, such as a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording capability, Bluetooth for connectivity with stereo headset support, an integrated MP3 player and 43MB of internal memory.

The handheld is also reported to include support for Sprint's Music Store. Just like in the case of the A790, Samsung W531 is aimed at business users that travel most of the time, who would find it inconvenient to switch between CDMA and GSM capable phones every time they are traveling overseas.

Measuring 89 x 58 x 21 and weighing 128 grams, Samsung W531 also has a very business-like design and offers the user a rich visual and audio experience. The handheld is also expected on Verizon Wireless. Sprint users will be able to find this handheld in stores very soon, but there is no information regarding the price so far.
