Cricket Communication has recently announced the release of yet another nice-looking device to its customers, the Samsung r460 MyShot II, which comes in a flip form factor, and also sports a sleek black and maroon finish, while being able to deliver a nice range of already popular multimedia options.

According to the wireless carrier, the new Samsung MyShot II can provide users not only with the multimedia features they would like to find in a device, but with messaging and customization features as well, basically combining a reach feature set with fun capabilities and with great value. At the same time, the handset can also prove a great option for people embracing different lifestyles.

The specification list of the Samsung r460 MyShot II shows that it sports two displays, the internal one featuring a 176 x 220 pixel resolution and support for 262K colors, with the external one boasting a 96 x 96 pixel resolution and supporting 65K colors, a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 8GB of additional storage space.

In addition, the new device also includes Bluetooth connectivity, speakerphone, tri-band CDMA support (Cricket’s AWS 1700MHz network included), 2.5mm headset jack, USB 2.0, dedicated music controls, support for SMS and MMS, voice dialing, as well as an 800 mAh Lithium Ion battery able to provide up to 240 minutes of talk time, or up to 300 hours of standby time.

The new Samsung r460 MyShot II measures 3.7 x 1.8 x 0.7 inches and weighs 3.4 oz. The color scheme that it comes to the market with is Wine Red, and Cricket offers a variety of accessories that go along with the handset. The price tag of the phone has been set at $139.99, which is not that bad after all.
