It seems that South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is getting closer to releasing two new smartphones running under the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system, namely the Samsung Omnia Pro and B7610 Louvre. The former has been recently spotted into the wild, and now a series of press photos with it seem to have been published on the company's site.

Although Samsung hasn't said anything about these two phones until now, and it has even removed the photos from its gallery, the handsets are expected to be officially unveiled as soon as Monday, June 15, at a Samsung Unlocked event. Thanks to the images published on Connect-UTB, we can have a closer look at the Samsung Omnia Pro, which is expected to come with an AMOLED display, while running under the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.

Previously, the phone has been seen on the Web going by the name of Samsung i8000 Omnia2, and we already reported on it, so most of you might already know that it should come with a highly customized Windows Mobile. The menus should be restyled due to a deeper integration with Samsung's TouchWiz user interface, while the overall user experience should be highly enhanced.

As for the second Samsung mobile phone that might get official on Monday, the B7610 Louvre, we learn that a few more details on its hardware specifications and on its features have emerged, unveiling, for example, the fact that it should include an 800MHz CPU. At the same time, the phone is expected to come with a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display featuring a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, and a nice user interface.

Other specs on the device include quad-band EDGE, HSDPA (7.2Mbps), aGPS capabilities, a 5-megapixel photo snapper, TV out, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, 1GB ROM, microSD memory card for additional storage space, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi b/g, and more. Interesting enough, it seems that both handsets will be delayed, Louvre until August, while Omnia Pro until November. Hopefully, we'll learn something different on Monday.
