Preparing for the holidays season, Samsung released a new slider phone and will launch other two in December, besides adding new colors for the slim and elegant U700 HSDPA handset.

The first phone released is Samsung SGH-J750, available now exclusively via M1, a leading mobile communications provider in Singapore. The handset is free for those who make a two-year contract with M1 and comes with features like a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 player, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and microSD card slot. It's not a great device, but a normal one created for those who want an affordable mobile phone.

In December this year, Samsung will bring the D880 Dual Sim handset, a mid-end phone that offers the highly useful feature of using two SIM cards at the same time, enabling users to place affordable calls by easily switching data plans. Besides this, the handset offers a quite nice 3-megapixel camera with auto focus, a 1200V powerful battery and connectivity through Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0. Samsung D880 will be available for a retail price of about $600.

Another slider that Samsung offers this winter is the fashionable L600, coming in pink and violet and targeting girls and women. The slider is not a high-end phone (it doesn't have 3G performances for example), but its smooth design will surely attract ladies. Samsung L600 provides Bluetooth and USB connectivity as well as GPRS and EDGE technology. A 2-megapixel camera can offer medium quality photos while the music player can support a large number of media files. The handset will retail for $400.

The highly popular Samsung U700 is dressed for the holidays in two new colors, Amethyst Violet and Pearl Black, to match everyone's tastes. The phone is available for the price of $638.
