Although Samsung Infuse is already available in the United States via AT&T, Android lovers living in Canada have yet to taste the power of the 4G-enabled smartphone.

Introduced earlier this year at the CES 2011, the Infuse 4G is about to make its debut in Canada through one of the largest carriers, Rogers.

As Paul Brennan of Samsung Canada stated back in January, “we will bring that [Samsung Infuse 4G] to Canada, I’m just trying to finalize which carrier and I don’t know timing.”

According to the guys over at MobileSyrup, that time has come and the powerful Android smartphone will be announced by Rogers in the next few days along with its price options.

Samsung Infuse 4G is powered by Android 2.2 Froyo and, as the name suggests features full 4G support for Rogers network.

The device comes with one of the largest 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen displays available in the market, which features 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

Thanks to Samsung's Super AMOLED Plus technology the display gets 50% more sub-pixels for better contrast and outdoor readability.

Furthermore, the large and crisp display is protected by Gorilla Glass, which makes it about six times stronger than the standard glass.

Samsung Infuse 4G is equipped with a single core ARM Cortex A8 1.2 GHz processor and features Samsung's proprietary TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

It boasts a superior 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, touch focus, face and smile detection, as well as video recording capabilities (1080p). The secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera allows users to make video calls.

Other highlights of the Infuse 4G include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support, 16GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card included), as well as integrated GPS.

The phone is powered by a high-capacity 1750 mAh Li-Ion battery that should provide up to 400 hours of standby time or up to 8 hours of talk time.
