Although Samsung Infuse 4G is expected to be released by AT&T in Q2, the carrier has yet to disclose an official launch date

Introduced earlier this year at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show, the smartphone has already been approved by FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

According to the guys over at Phandroid, Samsung and AT&T are expected to present the Infuse 4G later today during a launch event that has been little advertised.

If the phone will be introduced today, AT&T will probably make the device available for purchase starting next week.

In this regard, a newly spotted coupon book from Costco shows the device as being available for purchase for up $30 less than AT&T's retail price.

The offer is available starting May 12th through June 5th, and includes other discounts such as up $150 off of Verizon’s DROID 2 and up to $250 off of T-Mobile’s G2x.

Samsung Infuse 4G is expected to be delivered with Android 2.2 Froyo on board and, as the name suggests, 4G full support for AT&T's network.

The device comes with one of the largest 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen displays available in the market, which features 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The large display is protected by Gorilla Glass, which is about six time stronger than the standard glass.

Apparently, the phone is powered by a single core ARM Cortex A8 1.2 GHz processor and features Samsung's proprietary TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

It boasts a superior 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, touch focus, face and smile detection, as well as camcorder (1080p).

The secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera allows users to make video calls.

Other highlights of the Infuse 4G include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), as well as integrated GPS.
