A few days ago, Samsung pushed an update for its Gear 2 smartwatch that added a new Blocking Mode and improvements to S Health.

Now, the Korean tech giant is offering a new soft upgrade that includes all of its newest wearables, meaning the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit health-centric smartband.

The main purpose of this new build is to provide improvements to the overall user experience. So if you’re rocking one of Sammy’s new wearables on your wrist, keep reading.

After updating to the new build, you should be noticing a few tweaks and adjustments. For starters, the pedometer has been made to work more accurately and will now count your steps automatically when you start walking.

Furthermore, wearers can set higher pedometer goals and take advantage of an easier pedometer data transfer process. Samsung has also added improved heart rate monitor accuracy.

Sleep Mode has also been tweaked, so now users will be able to disable the screen wake-up feature. Last but not least, there are now more options for when you need to reject calls or create fast custom messages.

Owners of Samsung’s wearables should receive a notification on their respective Galaxy phone or tablet that the new build has arrived. Happy updating!
