Verizon is quite prolific when it comes to tablets. The carrier is offering a wide range of choices and one of the most recent additions is the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2.

Yet, if you’re not looking to purchase a premium tablet, but you still wouldn't mind having LTE on your slate, we bring you good news.

According to one of the latest posts by the notorious @evleaks, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 might be headed for Verizon in the near future. The image posted shows the tablet in black and “Verizon Wireless” can be spotted on the slate’s screen.

Furthermore, as it was revealed a while back, the smaller Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 seems to be also headed for the carrier. So we can expect big red to roll out the two tablets soon, which will most likely take advantage of the network’s new XLTE bandwidth.

Samsung announced the tablets on April 1, but started global pre-orders for the device starting on April 24. The tech giant gas no indication when LTE models will be dropping by for a visit. The Galaxy Tab 4 lineup consists of mid-range tablets priced relatively affordably.

Both the 10.1-incher and 8-incher arrive with a 1280 x 800 resolution display and draw life from a 1.4GHz quad-core processor fitted with 1.5GB of RAM.

The slates have dual cameras (3MP on the back and 1.3MP in front), 4,000 + battery and run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

For the time being, we really couldn't say how Verizon plans to price the tablet, but we could speculate. Considering Samsung is currently asking for $269.99 / €198 for a Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 with 16GB of internal storage, it means the extra 4G capability might bump up prices with around $50 / €37 to $100 / €73.

Verizon will probably offer the devices with a two-year plan, to make it easier for customers to pick one up.

In related news, you might want to wait a little before jumping onboard with Samsung tablet-wise. The widely expected AMOLED line-up, the Galaxy Tab S will finally be making an appearance during the Galaxy Premiere Event scheduled in New York.

The tablets will arrive with impressive specifications, so buying one will not be in everyone's budgets.

Anyway, yesterday it was revealed the smaller Galaxy Tab S 8.4 might end up selling for €449 / $449, which is comparable to the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 with LTE if you're willing to throw in an extra 100 bucks.
