Today, wireless carrier T-Mobile and Samsung Electronics announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G, a device exclusive on T-Mobile’s airwaves.

This is the latest smartphone that T-Mobile adds to its offering with support for its 4G (HSPA+42) network, and should hit the shelves in March.

The new device will be released next month with a price tag of $149.99 (113 Euros) attached to it after a $50 mail-in rebate card, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

The smartphone features a dual-core 1.5 GHz application processor inside (a Snapdragon S3 processor by Qualcomm), along with a large 3.97-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display on the front.

Moreover, the new device features a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with a 720p HD video recorder included, complemented by a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat.

The phone runs under Android 2.3 Gingerbread and sports a carbon black color, while featuring a sleek and stylish form factor.

“The Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G is loaded with rich features and services to keep consumers entertained and connected virtually anywhere they want to go,” said Andrew Sherrard, senior vice president, marketing, T-Mobile USA.

“Paired with T-Mobile’s fast 4G network and our unlimited data plans, we’re making it easy for consumers to enjoy the benefits of 4G experiences at a price they can afford.”

In addition to offering users the possibility to take photos and videos of the loved ones, the new handset also provides them with the option to install a wide range of applications from the Android Market.

At the same time, the device comes with a series of preloaded apps, including the T-Mobile 4GPro App Pack that features an aggregation of business software such as DropBox, Evernote, Square, TripIt, Camscanner and LinkedIn.

Offering support for T-Mobile’s 4G network, the new device also provides users with the option to enjoy streaming of videos from Netflix, or live or on-demand TV programs on T-Mobile TV in mobile HD4. They can also benefit from fast downloads, as well as from great navigation features.
