Samsung Galaxy Note is already available for pre-order in South Korea via SK Telecom since last week. However, the smartphone was officially announced only recently, along with two other Samsung Android devices, the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE.

According to the folks over at SammyHub, the Galaxy Note will be available in black and white, but it will come with slightly different features in comparison with the European version.

In this regard, the South Korean Galaxy Note is equipped with an enhanced 1.5 GHz dual core processor and packs 32 GB of internal memory, 1 GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

LTE and Bluetooth 3.0 support is also included, along with Wi-Fi, NFC (Near Field Technology) and T-DMB. Obviously, the phone is delivered with the S Pen stylus.

The Galaxy Note sports the same large 5.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that boasts HD 800 x 1280 resolution and is protected by Gorilla Glass display.

The Galaxy Note is a new type of smart device, following smartphones and tablet PCs. It will give consumers a new experience,” said Shin Jong-kyun, Samsung's president of mobile business.

In the same news, the Korean handset manufacturer announced the upcoming availability in its home market of the two additional devices, the Galaxy Nexus smartphone and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE tablet.

Both devices feature the same specs sheet as the international versions, so expect the same level of functionality and performance.

Galaxy Nexus will be delivered with Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, while the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb platform.

Furthermore, the tablet is equipped with a powerful 1.5 GHz dual core processor, whereas the Galaxy Nexus embeds a 1.2 Ghz TI OMAP 4460 CPU.

No word on the devices’ availability or pricing options yet, but they should be out by the end of the year.
