Rumors on the upcoming release of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus at Rogers have come and gone, but few managed to guess the exact release date of the smartphone.

However, Android enthusiasts living in Canada will be happy to know that Rogers has already started to sell the Galaxy Nexus. The folks at MobileSyrup have just been tipped on the pricing options offered by Rogers for this Android 4.0 device.

According to them, Rogers Galaxy Nexus is available for as low as $159.99, but requires customers to commit to a new three-year agreement. Furthermore, the smartphone can also be purchased on a shorter two-year term contract, but customer will have to shell out no less than $324.99.

Although there are no details on the phone’s suggested retail price, we can safely assume that Rogers’ no-term price for the Galaxy Nexus will be around $600-$650.

For the time being, the one-year and no-term pricing options haven’t been leaked and Rogers has yet to announce them through its official channels.

Seeing how Rogers matched Bell’s prices for the Galaxy Nexus, it appears that TELUS will have the most to gain due to the fact that the carrier plans to release the smartphone with lower price tag.

According to the latest hearsay, TELUS will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Nexus as well, but the device will be available for purchase for as low as $99.99 with a new three-year contract.

Given the fact that TELUS plans to undercut Rogers’ prices for the Galaxy Nexus, it will be interesting to see whether or not Rogers will cut its price plans for the Galaxy Nexus in the near future.

In other news, Fido has also started to sell the Galaxy Nexus, which is now available for $160 with a new three-year agreement or for a suggested retail price of $600.
