South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is among the first ones to come to the market with handsets running under Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7 operating system, and it appears that its devices would be pretty appealing in the end.

Among these handsets, we can count the Samsung Cetus i917, which already made an appearance on the web a few times before, and which can be admired once again in a video that can be seen embedded at the bottom of this article.

The video in question comes from Microsoft's internal Channel 9 crew, and is said to be from a tour of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 team, at least this is what WMPoweruser notes in a recent article.

What users can see there includes Charlie Kindel, Program Manager for Windows Phone 7, who shows off a custom application built for the upcoming mobile operating system, nothing more than a garage door opener app.

Even if there are not too many details unveiled on this device on the video preview, one would still like to have a look at the 4-inch AMOLED screen the phone comes with.

Those who kept an eye on news regarding Windows Phone 7 and various devices that emerged with it should know by now that the Samsung Cetus i917 already received Bluetooth SIG certification, and that it was also spotted at FCC.

Moreover, some of the previous rumors on this device suggested that it might arrive on the United States market on AT&T's airwaves, though no confirmation on this emerged for the time being.

For what it's worth, no details on when or where the Samsung Cetus i917 might arrive on the market emerged either, but it might not be too long before they are made official.

The new mobile operating system from Microsoft is expected to be announced officially to the world on October 11, and specific info on when handsets would land should be unveiled at that time.
