Should come to T-Mobile with Android on board

One of the latest mobile phones that passed through FCC's courtyard with Google's Android operating system on board is the Samsung Behold 2, a device that also boasts a display with a 420 x 300 pixel resolution, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity options. Moreover, the new handset is also reported to include a 1000 mAh battery, something that might not sound like a great option to many users out there.

However, the handset is getting ready to make an appearance on the US market, it seems, although there are no exact details on the name that it might be wearing. The handset has been spotted at FCC bearing model number SGH-T939, which connects it to the Samsung Behold (model SGH-T919), and the same does the 1000 mAh battery, also present with the original model.

Other specifications of Samsung behold 2 also include GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/1900 connectivity options, as well as AWS WCDMA/HSPA and Wi-Fi capabilities, in addition to Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a-GPS. No further details on what the phone might include have emerged so far, yet it is known that the carrier to have it should be T-Mobile.

According to phandroid, the new device might have only one problem when it comes to the specs it is bearing, namely the battery. Considering the amount of applications that an Android-based mobile phone usually has, and the fact that some of them work in the background almost at all time, there are great chances that the usage time provided by a 1000 mAh battery would be reduced.

However, nothing is nailed down until the device will actually make it to the market, since it is possible for the power-efficient technologies included with it to offer enough battery life so that its users will be happy with it. It shouldn't be too long before an official announcement on this handset is made, so keep an eye on this space to learn more details on it.
