Auditions for the latest season of X Factor are not going as planned, with temporary judges getting booed and ridiculed by fans and even contestants, and producers being accused they’re discriminating based on looks. Fans are very upset that only those who fit certain standards are allowed to sit behind the judges on the show, AceShowbiz informs.

According to several members of the audience who were on audition for the latest edition of the show, producers are very strict about what should and what should not be shown on camera. In their attempt to reduce the impact of anything “bad” that might be shot, they are literally choosing people who can sit behind the judges based on their looks alone and, of course, it’s not fair.

“TV producers of The X Factor want to make sure that nothing ‘bad’ is caught on camera. Some ‘ordinary-looking’ fans who have been queuing at the Birmingham LG Arena in hope that they’ll get good seats for the show were left disappointed when the organizers picked the good looking ones to sit behind the judges during the show,” AceShowbiz writes of the latest controversy. Fans who don’t fit the bill are being pushed back and don’t get a seat behind the judges even if their ticket order would entitle them to do so.

“It’s an absolute joke! I went yesterday, they pick attractive people to sit at the front, regardless of priority (ticketing) or where they are in the queue. I was so gutted when I was in my seat, I had tears in my eyes. They go through the queue and pick the good-looking ones,” a fan wrote on an online forum the other day. Another confirmed, though she was one “of the lucky ones.” “Just got pulled out of the queue because we’re young and really, really ridiculously good looking so we get to sit by the judges,” a girl tweeted.

As we also told you on past occasions, ever since Dannii Minogue has been on maternity leave, things have been unfolding in a rather unpleasant manner for X Factor. First, Geri Halliwell was booed while sitting in for Dannii at the auditions, while only days later, Natalie Imbruglia was mocked by two contestants.
