Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is one of the latest handsets Canadian mobile phone carrier Rogers Wireless is set to deliver to its customers, and a video review of the device is already available on the web. Those interested in the device can already order it in advance from the operator, which made it available for a promotional price of $149.99 upon the signing of a three-year contract agreement.

The device comes in two color versions, White and Black, and users can take a closer look at the Black version via the video published on mobilesyrup. Running under the 1.6 version of Google's Android operating system, the Xperia X10 is expected to receive an update to a newer flavor of the platform, though Rogers' customers will still have to wait a while before that happens.

Canadian mobile phone users interested in this handset will be able to acquire it from Rogers with two- or one-year contract agreements too, with Xperia X10 priced at $449.99 and $499.99, respectively. Moreover, the device is also available without a contract agreement, for the price tag of $549.99. Considering the features it comes around with, Sony Ericsson’s first Android-based phone does seem a nice deal, that's for sure.

The specifications list of Xperia X10 shows a 4-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen display that boasts a 480 x 854 pixels resolution, an 8.1-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, auto focus, video recording and face detection capabilities, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, coupled with 1GB of ROM and 512MB of RAM, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space (a 16GB card included in the package).

Other specs and features of the device include a 3.5mm headset jack, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, a 1500 mAh battery for extended usage, and Sony Ericsson’s own user experience thrown over the Android operating system. The Xperia X10 measures 119 x 63 x 13mm and weighs in at 135 grams. Take a look at the video bellow to learn a little more on the handset.
