Canadian mobile phone carrier Rogers is gearing up for the release of some great new smartphones for its customers this holiday season, and the next two weeks might bring two of these devices to shelves, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Sony’s Xperia T is one of them, with dummy units already arriving at some select Rogers stores, and with a release date expected to have been set for November 14.

No official confirmation has been provided on the matter, but Bell is said to plan the release of this smartphone on the sale day, and chances are that Rogers will follow suit.

The next day, November 15, Rogers customers will have the possibility to purchase a new Windows Phone 8 device on their carrier’s network, namely the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.

Dummy units with this device have emerged in stores as well, which also suggests that the launch date should be nearing fast.

According to MobileSyrup, the wireless carrier is planning the marketing of both the 8GB and 16GB versions of this smartphone.

The handset will be available through Bell as well, but it seems that Rogers will be the only one to sell both flavors. Furthermore, the carrier is expected to have the 8GB version available only in Black, while having the 16GB model all dressed up in Blue.

Unfortunately, no specific info on the price tags these two will sport when made available has emerged so far, but it should not be too long before all the necessary details are made available, so stay tuned.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Rogers is also bringing Nokia’s Lumia 920 flagship Windows Phone 8 device to Canada, and that it has actually started shipping units to those who pre-ordered before the end of last month.
