Rogers plans to release quite a number of high-end smartphones for the end of the year. As we reported last week, Samsung Galaxy S Glide is about to make it debut on Rogers' airwaves sometime this week, along with the Motorola RAZR, which is already available for pre-order.

According to the folks over at MobilSyrup (via tipster), the Galaxy S Glide is slated for a November 3 release, while the Motorola RAZR should go live the next day.

It looks like both smartphones will be available for the same $149.99 (107 EUR) price with a new three-year agreement.

There are no details about the Galaxy S Glide suggested retail price, but the RAZR can be ordered for $649.99 (465 EUR) outright.

Although Motorola RAZR and Samsung Galaxy S Glide are both tagged as high-end Android smartphones, they come in different shapes and hardware configurations.

While the Galaxy S Glide targets business customers or those Android fans who prefer physical QWERTY keyboards over the virtual ones, the Motorola RAZR is aimed at those who want a slim device that can be carried in any pocket.

Touted the thinnest LTE-enabled smartphone, Motorola RAZR comes with a brilliant 4.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support and 540 x 960 pixels resolution, which is protected by Gorilla Glass.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S Glide is allegedly delivered with a slightly smaller 4.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.

Both smartphones sport dual cameras, a main 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

In addition, the RAZR is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor and a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit, while the Galaxy S Glide embeds a similar processor, but possibly manufactured by another company.

The Samsung Galaxy S Glide and Motorola RAZR are powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

Stay tuned for more updates on the matter, as Rogers goes live with the smartphones.
