Wide variety of tracks

The Rock Band franchise is currently one of the most important series of video games active in the music genre. Created by Harmonix, the titles have brought a wide variety of new features, effectively pushing the genre forward, with full band play and, most importantly, downloadable content.

DLC allowed developers to bring fresh tracks to users, which weren't available in the retail release, and generate an even bigger profit off of the game after its release. As usual, the team at Harmonix has revealed what it has in store this week for Rock Band 2 users who have the Wii version of the game.

While the collection of tracks on the Rock Band 2 online music store is still smaller than the one for the bigger Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, it will slowly but surely reach them. This week Wii rockers will be getting an assortment of tracks from groups such as REO Speedwagon, Styx, Hautewerk, All That Remains of System of a Down.

Without further ado, here is the lineup of titles that will appear today on the Wii Rock Band 2 Music Store:

REO Speedwagon "Ridin' the Storm Out" REO Speedwagon "Roll with the Changes" REO Speedwagon "Take It on the Run" Styx "Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)" Styx "Renegade" Styx "Too Much Time On My Hands" Styx/REO Speedwagon "Can't Stop Rockin'" Hautewerk "Alone in My Head" Hautewerk "I Know Where You Came From" Hautewerk "Stop Start Again" The Clash "Complete Control" Devo "Girl U Want" The Ramones "Teenage Lobotomy" All That Remains "Chiron" All That Remains "This Calling" All That Remains "Two Weeks" System of a Down "B.Y.O.B." System of a Down "Toxicity"

As usual, all of the tracks are master recordings and are priced at 200 Wii Points or 2 dollars each, without the possibility of acquiring them as a bundle, sadly. Look forward to more fresh and interesting tracks next week.
