14 DAY TRIAL // Turns out Robert Pattinson wasn’t really joking when he told Jimmy Kimmel that he was “homeless.” Though he isn’t exactly living out of a trash can in a back alley, the actor is selling the LA home he used to share with Kristen Stewart until not long ago.
Pattinson and Stewart started dating about 3 years ago, after meeting and falling in love on the set of the first “Twilight” movie.
They are believed to have broken up earlier this month, as photos confirmed she had an affair with a married man, which Robert took to heart, as most people would in a similar situation.
At the time, they were still living together in Los Angeles, in a home Pattinson had bought. He’s now selling it, Us Weekly writes.
“An insider confirms to Us Weekly that Pattinson is ‘selling’ the posh Los Feliz home in Los Angeles that Stewart moved into nearly a year ago. ‘He said there are too many memories,’ says the insider of Pattinson,” the celebrity publication reports.
“Although Stewart has been splitting her time with BFF Scout Taylor-Compton in Burbank, Calif. and with her parents in L.A.’s Woodland Hills nabe, she hasn’t yet officially moved out of the $6.3 million [€5 million] house, which Pattinson bought in September 2011,” adds the report.
“Once owned by ER star Noah Wylie, the abode is ‘on an acre and a half of land and has a 150-person screening room and amazing gardens,’ according to a source,” Us further says.
Selling the house might be yet another attempt on Robert’s behalf to move on from the heartbreak. While some reports claim that he might still get back with Kristen even if she violated his trust like this, others insist he’s finally realizing there are other fish in the sea as well.
Since the scandal, the handsome Brit has been linked with some of the hottest celebrities of the moment, including Katy Perry and Rihanna. At one point, a tab even claimed that Leo DiCaprio wanted to nab him as friend so he could hit it off better with the ladies / models.
