Robert Pattinson lives in a trash can but owns at least a couple of cars, all of which he's bought off Craigslist. To promote his latest film “Cosmopolis,” the actor sat down for an interview with Jimmy Kimmel and, as expected, it's quite entertaining to watch.

Say what you will about him or his movies, but there's no denying that Robert Pattinson is amazing in interviews: he's chill and spontaneous, and has a very deprecating sense of humor, both in front of the camera and on paper.

His appearance on Kimmel is no exception. Check out the interview in full below, embedded at the end of this article.

However, if you think you'll hear him talking about his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart, whom he reportedly dumped after 3 years after she cheated on him with a married man, you might as well skip it.

Both Kimmel and Robert gracefully sidestep the thorny topic, focusing instead on his current accommodations, his apparent addiction to Craigslist and his controversial and “weird” new film, from which he also introduced a new scene.

“I still am [homeless],” Pattinson says when Kimmel reminds him that the last time he was on the show he said he did not own a house and was living mostly out of hotels and rented flats.

“No, I rented this archway and I just live behind it. In one of those trash cans,” Pattinson laughs.

“I buy everything off Craigslist, my friends, that’s what I was initially looking on it for,” he jokes.

He bought all his cars off Craigslist and actually goes to people's houses to negotiate for the items he's interested in, he says.

Kimmel is honestly surprised that he can get away with such a thing, especially since he must be one most popular and instantly recognized celebrities of the moment.

Robert though makes it a point that he can fly under the radar if he really wishes to.

Speaking of flying under the radar (in the wrong neighborhood), the British actor recalls a time when he'd go out cycling in tights in a parking lot known for cruising.

“I used to turn up at this parking lot looking at everyone like, 'Why are all these guys sitting around in their cars all the time?' And I’m going there everyday kind of thinking nothing of it, coming out in my little Lycra pants, and one day there was a big raid,” Pattinson says.

Check out the interview. You won't be sorry.
