Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are married – at least in the eyes of God. In a recent interview to promote the upcoming “Breaking Dawn Part 1,” Robert revealed that the wedding scene was shot before an actual priest.

Fans know that the new “Twilight” installment, which will be out in theaters on November 18, will see leading characters Bella (Stewart) and Edward (Pattinson) overcome the barriers between them (she's mortal, he's a vampire) to tie the knot.

Speaking of the wedding scene, which has been shot in the utmost secrecy lest the world got to see Bella's dress before the film came out in cinemas, Pattinson says it was shot before an actual priest, X17 Online informs.

If all the steps of an actual ceremony were made, then for all intents and purposes, they are married, he further explains.

“The wedding scene's funny because we used a real priest. So technically we are already married because he did all the things you would do in a normal ceremony,” the British actor says.

“So we don't have a civil union in law, but I guess in the church we are actually married,” he adds.

Of course, in saying these things, Pattinson does nothing but inflame public opinion even more.

He must know the frenzy that came with early rumors that he and Kristen were also an item offscreen, or the madness that began when they started being photographed stealing kisses or holding hands when they thought no one was watching them.

Just recently, Kristen confirmed for the first time that she and Rob were a couple, after blurting out that her “boyfriend is English” before the actual interview.

“I mean, it’s like, ‘C’mon guys. It’s so obvious’,” Kristen told the reporter when asked to elaborate on her previous statement, as we also informed you at the time.
