14 DAY TRIAL // British actor Robert Pattinson’s style has already been recognized by several magazines as one that all young men should aspire to because it’s chic and it’s cool. Now, he and Kristen Stewart have also been voted most stylish couple.
InStyle Magazine says the two have an appeal not many other celebrity couples can boast of – speaking strictly of fashion, of course.
According to FanBolt, the editor who comprised the top loves “Pattinson’s ‘public school boy style’ as well as Stewart’s ‘laidback American approach to fashion’,” the aforementioned e-zine notes.
These two styles combined have earned the “Twilight” pair (both in front of the camera and in real life) the title of most stylish even if, as FanBolt notes, they’re not really trying to impress with their fashion sense.
Other couples who have also made the cut are Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony and younger pair Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.
Perhaps this is still to emerge online, but David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are notably absent from the list, one may as well point out.
Back to the “Twilight” stars, while Stewart’s fashion sense has yet to receive other accolades, Pattinson, as noted above, has already caused some waves with his “public school boy style.”
In October this year, for instance, Glamour UK named him the most stylish Brit, saying there was more to his appeal than just the fact that he plays a brooding vampire in one of the most successful film franchises of our times.
“Tartan lumberjack shirts and jeans when out and about, drool-inducing tailored suits and skinny ties when on the red carpet,” Glamour wrote of Robert’s style, as displayed on various occasions and heavily documented in the media by paparazzi shots.
“Robert Pattinson is certainly the crush of the moment but he can now add Britain’s Most Stylish Man to his long list of accolades,” the publication added in the same piece.
