Ashley Greene says co-star Robert Pattinson doesn’t really understand girls
Ashley Greene says co-star Robert Pattinson doesn’t really understand girls

Admittedly, “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson is one of the best looking men in the industry, being able to boast the kind of looks that can send women into a frenzy with just a smile or a seemingly careless gesture of sweeping back his hair. One person who would beg to differ is his co-star Ashley Greene, who tells the latest issue of Seventeen magazine, as cited by People, that RPattz is not really all that.

Of course, there’s no denying his good looks for such a thing would make her blind, or nearly so. Still, when she met him, the actress says, she was not really that impressed with him because they had no kind of chemistry going on. Moreover, she was left with the distinct feeling that Robert doesn’t really know his way around girls, regardless of tales of his Don Juan-esque ways circulating in the tabs.

“When I met Rob, I didn’t think twice about him,” Greene says, thus literally becoming the first woman to say she met RPattz and didn’t lose her head. “He’s really attractive, but that chemistry wasn’t there. [He] doesn’t understand girls. He gets a lot of attention from them, but he doesn’t quite understand it because before Twilight, he was just a guy from Harry Potter,” the actress continues by saying. And, if Pattinson made no impression on her, she can’t say the same about Kellan Lutz.

“When asked if she’s ever hooked up with Lutz, Greene replied, ‘I’ve definitely thought about it.’ She says the pair, who are currently in contract negotiations to make sure they remain part of the Cullen family for the final two Twilight installments, met years ago through their agent and they’ve been ‘best friends ever since – and filming together has made us even closer.’ But Greene doesn’t see romance in their future together. ‘He’s one of my best friends, but if we were going to be romantic, we would have done it years ago!’ she says,” People further informs.

Ashley also says that she cherishes her friendship with Kellan more than any other relationship in her life, therefore she would never endanger it by taking that step from which there is rarely a going back. Plus, Kellan gives her that male perspective she needs so badly at times by simply being her friend and, again, this is not something she’d want to lose.
