14 DAY TRIAL // Robert Pattinson, together with Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, was on Oprah the other day on an “Eclipse” special that also included countless surprises for fans. One of them was also how RPattz, usually a rather shy guy, showed throughout the interview his incredible sense of humor, as People magazine can also confirm.
For instance, when asked about whether he and co-star Kristen were dating, as speculation would have it, Robert said that she was actually pregnant with his baby. The actress took the ball from her court and passed it along, saying she and Rob had decided that he give birth to their child, which in itself would be a wonderful achievement since he had such narrow hips. At one point, Oprah also asked the British actor how he felt about being named among the top 100 most influential people and make the cut on the most beautiful people list.
“Robert Pattinson gets plenty of fan (and media) attention – but he has a hard time believing all the hype, he tells Oprah Winfrey. When the talk show host asked him about being named to People’s Most Beautiful List and Time’s 100 Most Influential People on a special Twilight-themed episode Thursday, the British actor, 24, couldn’t help but laugh. ‘It just seems completely ridiculous,’ he said when Winfrey asked him to pick which list mattered most, though he nevertheless made a choice,” People writes.
“‘Definitely [People’s Most] Beautiful,’ he said. ‘I have no reason to influence people. I just want someone to pat me on the back,’ he said, teasing. ‘Three years ago, I wouldn’t be able to influence my dog to walk.’ The actor, who celebrated his 24th birthday Thursday, was joined on the show by costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, who talked about all the fan attention the series receives and what he looks for romantically,” the mag further informs.
In another segment of the interview – also embedded at the end of the article – the three stars also talked about what it was like for them to be so famous that they’re always surrounded by screaming fans. Lautner compared it to living in two different worlds that have nothing to do with each other, while Pattinson said he felt like being in the eye of the storm, yet with some degree of detachment as well.
