14 DAY TRIAL // Robert Pattinson may talk much and be obstinate about keeping to himself as regards many aspects of his everyday life, but when he agrees to an interview or at least a photoshoot, he certainly causes a splash. The latest issue of GQ Africa features the brooding British star on the cover and in a stunning portrait, which is already getting fans raving about it online.
Moreover, it’s not only teenage female fans that are saying this is truly a beautiful photoshoot, with many celebrity bloggers and glossy publication admitting that, even if “Twilight” is not really their cup of tea, Pattison can surely look good in pics. Gather, for instance, says that, regardless of how he may look on a daily basis, when it comes to glamour spreads, RPattz does almost as fine a job as a professional model – and that’s saying a lot.
“Robert Pattinson is on the June 2010 cover of GQ South Africa and the subtitle about him is ‘Fame & Fortune: Robert Pattinson: Interview with a Vampire.’ Isn’t that just adorable? In his interview he talks ‘Twilight’ and other topics. Man! Does this guy clean up nice or what?! I’m so used to seeing him frumpy in his off camera photos but it is nice to see him laid back but trendy. Kristen Stewart is on the upcoming ELLE cover so maybe Pattinson is keeping up. I hope so, this GQ South Africa cover gorgeous! More covers please!” Gather gushes.
However, not all recent covers dedicated to Pattinson are this flattering. According to OK! Magazine, which features the actor next to his co-star and alleged girlfriend Kristen Stewart on the cover, while shooting for Oprah’s “Eclipse” special that will air today, Robert told the host that Kristen was pregnant. Admittedly, though they’ve been refusing to talk about their relationship with anyone, Pattinson stated in front of a live audience that Stewart was pregnant, and it’s all on tape.
“They’ve met in shadowy bars, snuck off on secret getaways and sidestepped inquiries from the media about their love life – that is until Oprah Winfrey started asking questions. At the May 6 taping of The Oprah Show, she asked them the million dollar question: Is talk of a relationship true? Oprah got a doozy of an answer from Rob: ‘Kristen’s pregnant’,” OK! writes.
