14 DAY TRIAL // Over the weekend, at the MTV Movie Awards 2011, Summit Entertainment dropped the first teaser trailer for the upcoming “Twilight” film, “Breaking Dawn Part 1,” which is out in November this year. One thing that the trailer didn’t show was Bella Swan’s wedding dress.
Fans can be thankful that Robert Pattinson is not the one to be too mum on the topic. MTV caught up with the British actor before the awards show – and he actually said quite a few things about the wedding, as the video below will confirm.
For starters, Rob said that he hadn’t yet seen the trailer that Summit was about to show at the awards gala, claiming that he was “quite unprepared.”
As for the wedding in the film, in which mortal Bella Swan married her brooding vampire Edward Cullen (played by Pattinson himself), the actor says co-star Kirsten Stewart did most of the acting on that scene.
“I didn’t really do much other than just stand there. Which I guess is what most guys do,” Robert said with a laugh.
At the same time, he gushed about the wedding, saying he hoped fans would appreciate it.
“It’s very pretty, very sweet. Hopefully it will be good,” he explained.
Judging by fans’ reaction to the trailer, which also included a glimpse at the wedding (but not at the dress, as noted above), “Twilight” can do no wrong by them, because they already love it.
They will love the film even more once they see Kirsten / Bella in the wedding dress, Robert seemed to promise.
“She looked amazing. She got to do the whole walking down the aisle and everything,” he gushed.
As we also reported earlier this week, the MTV Movie Awards also brought more surprises for Twi-hards than just the release of the trailer: “Eclipse,” the third installment in the franchise, scooped up no less than 5 awards, becoming the biggest winner of the night.
