Robbie Williams has been dating US actress and television personality Ayda Field for more than three years, often saying that she was the one that helped him see the problems he was having, thus helping him get his life back in order. After a prank proposal happening live on air during a radio show in November last year, Robbie finally asked for Ayda’s hand – and will marry her tomorrow, the Mirror informs.

No official confirmation of this has yet come from the singer, since he’s presumably doing his best to prevent this from getting out in the media and thus not have his wedding ruined by the paparazzi. However, buzz is picking up in the British tabs that Robbie has all the preparations done for the big day, sending out invites to all his friends and family members, and making arrangements for a 2-week honeymoon on the island of Santa Catalina.

“Robbie Williams is to marry his long-term lover in a secret island ceremony. The singer will tie the knot with actress and comedian Ayda Field on an island 20 miles offshore from Los Angeles this weekend. Stoke-born Robbie, 36, and Ayda, 31, only told loved ones last week that the wedding will be today or tomorrow. A source said: ‘They have kept the guest list as small as possible and have revealed only scant detail of the ceremony’,” the Mirror writes.

“Robbie’s dad Pete Conway and mum Jan will also attend as will close pal Jonathan Wilkes. But Take That bandmates Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will be unable to make it as they are all already on holiday. Guests have been told to gather today at a small port from where they will be ferried to Santa Catalina,” the same tabloid further informs. Wilkes will reportedly act as best man for Robbie and he’s already in Los Angeles, preparing for the big day.

As also noted above, in November last year, Robbie went live on an Australian radio show, where he asked the reporter to call Ayda – and then proposed to her on air, seemingly out of the blue. At the time, the singer was promoting a new album and, amidst speculation that the proposal was just a PR stunt, he later said that it had only been a “joke.”
