Capcom is currently rumored to be preparing high definition remakes of two Resident Evil games, the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica: Director's Cut.

According to a report from Andriasang, a Japanese magazine has published the first details about Capcom's newest project called Resident Evil Revival Selection HD Remastered Series.

What's behind that massively long name? High definition remakes of both Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica: Director's Cut, who are on their way not only on the PlayStation 3, which has already seen quite a few HD collections appear in the last couple of years, but also on the Xbox 360.

The new Resident Evil 4 will also include Ada Wong's The Another Order scenario, meaning there will be a lot of other things to do besides guiding the game's protagonist, Leon, trough the hordes of infected pseudo-zombies.

Not many other details were revealed, and support for motion technologies like the PlayStation Move or Kinect is still up in the air.

Resident Evil 4 has already seen motion controls added to its gameplay when it released for the Nintendo Wii back in 2007, after originally appearing for platforms like the Nintendo GameCube PlayStation 2 or, more recently, on the iPhone or iPad.

Code Veronica: Director's Cut, like its name suggests, will include the extended version of Code Veronica, probably based on the Veronica X edition originally released on the GameCube in 2003, which was already a longer edition of the first Resident Evil: Code: Veronica, which first appeared on the Sega Dreamcast in 2000.

Capcom, for what it's worth, declined to comment on these reports, as it is focusing its efforts on launching two new Resident Evil games for the Nintendo 3DS.

These are Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, which is coming on June 2, and Resident Evil: Revelations, which ties into the latest Resident Evil 5 game and is scheduled to appear later this year.
