14 DAY TRIAL // Slovakian mobile software developer Resco has just announced the release of Resco Pocket Radio 3.00 for Windows Mobile. The application provides users unlimited streaming of radio broadcasts.
Windows Mobile is the first platform that gets the new Resco Pocket Radio, as the developer stated that it will release versions for Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone 7 by the end of the calendar year.
“Resco Pocket Radio 3.00 for Windows Mobile is only the first one of 5 versions we are about to release.” said Marcel Saffa, Resco’s product manager.
“Till the end of the calendar year we plan to release versions for Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone 7. Our goal is to make this fantastic application available for wide group of users on several different platforms,” added Saffa.
Those that are still using Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and are already acquainted with Resco's applications should really try the new version of the software, which has been rebuilt entirely.
Except for the new attractive skin based design and plenty of improvements in functionality, the developers have also created a dynamic database of internet radio streams on an online server.
A database with more than 5000 radio stations is being updated daily by Resco. Users can insert their favorite radios and send them to the developer for validation. They will get a confirmation shortly after the radios are added to the database.
Another new feature is the possibility to display lyrics of the currently played song.
