Some rappers are tough or they like to be perceived as such. Others, instead, simply like Facebook. T-Pain was recently on a trip to Hawaii and, while there, he got a Facebook-inspired tattoo.

The rapper, just like Gucci Mane before him, chose to unveil his latest body work on Twitter – and is now the butt of most jokes online, with celebrity bloggers and fans alike.

The tattoo, T-Pain explained in a tweet coming with a photo of the tat, was done in Hawaii – apparently, he usually gets new ink when he’s there.

It includes the well-known “like” button on the popular social networking site, together with the words “You don’t have to ‘like’ me.”

The “like” part is the Facebook button, complete with the thumbs-up, as the photo attached to the article will confirm.

“I get a tatt every time I come to Hawaii. I think this ones pretty sweet, unless facebook shuts down soon 0_o,” the rapper tweeted.

Clearly, since there’s practically zero chance for Facebook to shut down, T-Pain will continue to consider the ink “pretty sweet,” regardless of what people have to say about it – which, as a side note, amounts to nothing good.

Chris Matyszczyk of CNet, for instance, jokes that the rapper would better be careful to who he shows off his tattoo, since Mark Zuckerberg may get all the Facebook attorneys to force him to pay them copyrights for using the “like” button without permission.

“However, I am concerned that, should Facebook’s kindly lawyers espy T-Pain’s artwork, they might demand a licensing fee. They might also demand that he change the wording to something more positive for the brand, such as ‘You have to “like’ me’,” Matyszczyk jokes.

Celebrity bloggers, on the other hand, don’t even see the need to bother with this type of jokes: getting a tattoo with Facebook’s “like” button is almost as dumb as the ice cream cone Gucci Mane got inked on his face a short while ago, they say.
