Finally, some word on the sixth installment in the Rainbow Six series, Rainbow Six Vegas. Red Storm Entertainment and Ubisoft Montreal have just finished developing the game and they have sent the master DVD to the production facility.

Do you know what this means? Yap, you're right, it means that we will soon get to play it, and furthermore, we will be able to use our beautiful and angelic faces in the multiplayer mode via the Live Vision camera. As you probably figured it out by yourselves, this news is about the Xbox version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas. The exact release date for the Xbox 360 version has been set for November 20, following an announcement of the PC, PS3 and PSP versions of the game most likely to be released in January 2007.

The Rainbow Six series goes back a long, long time as the first installment was released back in 1998, and was strictly meant for PCs. Later on, Red Storm Entertainment ported the game onto other platforms including Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Mac and Dreamcast.

Little is known about the game but the fact that there are 8 multiplayer modes, including Survival, Team Survival, Sharpshooter, Team Sharpshooter, Retrieval, cooperative Terrorist Hunt, Attack & Defend and cooperative Campaign.
