Xbox version still on track

I know you were eager to start shooting up Vegas, but apparently, you will have to wait some more to get back at Bellagio for "stealing" all your money, because the sixth installment in the Rainbow Six series just got delayed.

I'm not talking about the Xbox 360 version, which just hit retail shelves, but about the PC, PS3 and PSP version. According to GameSpot, Ubisoft decided to push the release dates for no apparent reason (too bad).

To be more exact, the PS3 version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas will now be released on January 30 of 2007. On the same date, Ubisoft will also release the PSP version of the game, while PC gamers will start shooting up Vegas on December 12.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas will be different from any other shooter out there, such as Call of Duty or Halo, because it will feature a new health system where the player regenerates when he is not talking fire. A third person view has been included, meant to help players to cope with corner blind-firing. There won't be any cutscenes present in this shooter, as Usbisoft decided to depict the games' plot once you advance more and more sections inside the game.
